My Story

My story begins with a memory, as being a child and my mom, sitting on the bed next me and reading a story book. The big book with tick covers, laying in her lap is being used sinceher childhood. She is browsing through the yellowish pages and showing me each picture, describing a magical, colorful palette of dreams: princesses, distant kingdoms and enchantment. My mom is reading as she is making a “magic”. Magic lives in the colorful pictures: the Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, the Stork-Khalif…
Almost every child dreams to be a character in a story, except me. I’ve been dream of being able to draw fairy-tales, as the colorful pictures are the most wonderful thing in my world.
Today, when the childhood is long gone and it’s been quite a while since my mom doesn’t read me stories. The books with the thick covers are staying in the bookshelf and I am sitting with a brush in my hand and painting – creating my fairy-tales.
When people speak of the path of creativity, there is always a lot of wanderings, uncertainty and plenty of questions. I didn’t had any doubts. Since I was four I have been painting.
My first step was the professional highschool of textile and fashion design, followed by individual reviews with decorated textile.
I’ve continue with studies of Industrial design and Specialization in the Braunschweig University of Art, followed by an internship in the design team of the German concern Medion in Essen and a specialization in design bureau “XL+ Design”, Shanghai. I’ve achieved a Master Degree in Graphic Design and accomplishedvariety of local and international projects; industrial and graphical products. Participation in many exhibitions. Master class in painting with Prof. Nikola Angelakov, one of the few living disciples of Prof. Vassil Stoilov.
Today I am an creative director and CEO in a Swiss company. The world of design is my work, but my inspiration comes from my strongest passion – painting.
But how can painting inspire me? Painting require inspiration.
I love the sun, the rain, the autumn, the clouds, the mountain, the spring, the trees, the flowers, the summer, the watter, the snow, the winter, my bike, my bag, freedom, the flight of spirit...
The aquarelle is my faviourite way to express myself. This is simply how I see the world through my eyes – fine and aerial, marvelous and colorful, tender and wonderful, magical and enchanting.
